Health and Safety Policy

 BUILD 2 PLAN HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT 

It is the Company’s intention that its works will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable measures will be taken to avoid risk to its employees or others that may be affected. Management and Supervision staff has the responsibility for implementing this Policy throughout the Company and must ensure that Health and Safety considerations are always given priority in planning and during the day-to-day supervision of work. 

This Company will fully comply with the duties placed upon it within the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994. It will adhere to the Health and Safety Plan instigated and to the best of it’s ability ensure full compliance by all parties involved. All employees and Sub-contractors are expected to co-operate with the Company in carrying out the Policy and must ensure that their own work, so far as it is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves and to others. 

The Board of Directors has responsibility for Health, Safety and Welfare and to whom reference should be made in the event of any difficulty arising in the implementation of this policy. The management and staff of the Company will monitor the operation of this policy. To assist them in this respect the Company will appoint a specialist independent Health and Safety advisor to visit all Company on-site works and workplaces and to give advice on the requirements of the relevant statutory provisions and safety matters generally. 

The Board of Directors annually or when current legislation demands will review this Policy.
